Anvil Chorusfrom Il Trovatore

The rousing and well-known Anvil Chorus or Gyspy Chorus from Verdi’s Il Trovatore (The Troubadour) depicts Spanish gypsies striking their anvils at dawn and singing the praises of hard work, good wine, and their gypsy women. This is a flashy piece and everyone gets a good part.
