Ghostly and C418 have finally teamed up for this physical release of Minecraft Volume Beta, the second installment of C418 aka Daniel Rosenfelds music from the game, following the vinyl release of Volume Alpha. Beta is a slightly moodier and more austere affair, as evidenced by the diabolic cover graphics. Far from childs play, at times resembling Eno, Ben Frostand Vladislav Delay; were confident when we say this is serious music that no lover of avantgarde, ambient or electroacoustic music should ignore. ‘Fire splatter’ colored double vinyl pressing, recommended!
