“glaives third album, Yall, captures the restless genius of Ash Blue Gutierrez at his most personal and unpredictable. Rooted in his return to Asheville, North Carolina, the record doubles as a love letter to home and a reckoning with family, fame, and identity. Across wildly varied tracks of hyperpop explosions, Euro trance, indie folk, and even raw guitar rock, Yall radiates sincerity beneath its digital sheen. Dedicated to his late grandparents on the closing ‘Bennie and Kay,’ the album grounds glaives genre chaos in heartfelt reflection. Yall proves glaive isnt just revisiting his roots, hes reinventing them.” – Echo Base
