Witness lo-fi boogie funk in it’s rawest and truest form as Prophet channels his innerPrinceontwostand out cuts from the grail-status LP, Right On Time. Worth it for the title track alone, apotenthit ofover the top boogie bliss, but this 7″ pressing also includes theaddictivedance floor groovesof “Tonight” on the flipside. Anyone who’s ever got down to aDam Funkjam owes it to themselves to check out the real deal from ’84. Essential listening for the funk freaks, on 45 for the first time.Recommended.
