Second solo album from Bahia, Brazil’s Tom Ze. Ze’s eponymous album was originally released in 1970 and continued in a similar musical vein to his debut, Grande Liquidicao. Carried by Ze’s instantly recognizable vocal, the music is a combination of guitars, layers of percussion and tough rock ‘n’ roll. It’s an essential record from a legend of Brazilian music. Twelve tracks in all. Released by Mr Bongo, manufactured in Japan.
