C2-2855Universal Scaler Plus is first in a new generation of high-performancescalersthat provides best-in-class video scaling and format conversion along withrevolutionary, intuitive user interface tools. This new design has moreinput/output flexibility than any other previous tvONE scaler, and it can beset up in less than 1/3 the time of the previous generation. The unit can bemanaged from the front panel with its new, crystal clear OLED display andcolor-modulated, backlit buttons or by IP via computer-based control panel. AnRS232 serial interface is also provided for use with 3rd party control systems.
Living up toits designation as a “Universal Scaler” the C2-2855 supports SD/HD/3G-SDI,HDMI, DVI, Composite Video, YC, YUV, YPbPr or RGB, on both inputs and outputs.In addition to extremely high quality scaling and conversion, the C2-2855 alsoprovides powerful Picture-in-picture, keying and logo insertion featuress . Itstores up to 5 still images and 5 logos for layering in the output video.Twelve user-defined presets are readily available for instant, on-the-flyadjustment for diverse customized applications.
AudioAdvanced audio architecture provides integrated 4×1 audio switching. The fourimpedance-independent unbalanced inputs follow the video selection. A rearpanel terminal block and a 3.5mm jack-socket provides versatile access.Embedded Audio Support allows any audio input to be embedded on the HDMI, DVI,and SDI outputs. The C2-2855 can also de-embed audio input from HDMI or SDIsignals for routing to analog audio outputs.
